Synopsis

The Palatine Concert Band, under the direction of Dr. Frederick Lowe, performs traditional and contemporary works for band on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 3:30 pm at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 E. Wood St., Palatine.

Our “Homages & Celebrations” concert selections include:  William Byrd Suite by Gordon Jacob (celebrating the 400th anniversary of Byrd’s death), Toccata by Girolamo Frescobaldi, Homages by Michael Djupstrom, and “March” from Symphonic Metamorphosis on Themes of Carl Maria von Weber by Paul Hindemith.
