Arlington Dance Ensemble Presents

The Nutcracker

Come support Arlington Dance Ensemble and Arlington Dance Academy in their
performance of the classic story of the Nutcracker. This will be an abbreviated version of
the full length ballet. The performance will be about an hour and 15 minutes in length and will
include an intermission. This is the perfect holiday experience for first time viewers,
children and ballet enthusiasts. We hope you will come celebrate the holidays and the
joy of dance with us.

Co-Directors Jeanette Aylward and Laura Gates have over 20 years of teaching
experience at McDonald Dance Academy in Arlington Heights. In 2022, they purchased
the studio from the previous owner and founder Linda McDonald and renamed the studio
Arlington Dance Academy.  Arlington Dance Academy provides a fresh front to a well established business and
continues to be a studio dedicated to teaching correct dance technique, theory, and
terminology for beginning through advanced students.

Arlington Dance Ensemble consists of Arlington Dance Academy students ranging in age
from 10-18 years old. Ensemble is a group of well rounded, dedicated young dancers
who want to make more of a commitment to their art.
